Installing a corner bathtub is a popular option for small bathroom designs. Corner bathtub dimensions vary. While most designs are considered small corner bathtubs, there are actually some types that may take up more room than standard alcove showers and tubs. Usually it is the deep corner bathtubs that have larger dimensions that can range from 5 feet to 7 feet on one side. Corner whirlpool bathtubs are usually large in size as well. About the smallest corner bathtub designs available are the 4 foot corner bathtubs made of acrylic. It is also possible to have corner bathtubs custom made to your specifications. Before purchasing a corner bathtub, be sure to know the dimensions of your bathroom and make sure measurements are accurate to ensure that you do not end up with a tub that is too large for your bathroom. Also, take special notice of how the dimensions of the tub are listed. Some corner bathtub models list two different sizes - one is the wall dimensions of the tub, the other is the installed size.
